OMA Launches Looking Ahead Initiative
Be Heard! Please take the time to complete this quick scan: SURVEY
Ontario museums are seizing the opportunity to build a strong, stable, united and relevant museum community for Ontarians. The objective of this initiative is to realize the full potential of a more collaborative, forward-looking and responsive museum sector for communities across the province.
A first activity is to identify the range of issues museums currently face. Your response leading to the results of the following scan will inform and direct our continuing work together by identifying key areas and actions required to develop our strategies for Ontario’s museum sector.
A strong response rate to the scan will increase the relevance of our findings, creating a strong and united voice in identifying needs and advocating for support. It will demonstrate to our funders and other stakeholders the commitment of Ontario’s museums to work together to address future challenges.
This sector-led initiative is guided by a Task Force, representing the diversity of Ontario’s museum community.
