5 ways to participate in May is Museum Month

Use the OMA May is Museum Month Posters and Wordmark to Publicize Events and Activities

Display the poster and flyers throughout your site and high traffic areas such as local libraries, malls and City Hall; use them for media photo opportunities, or to stimulate radio and television coverage. Add the wordmark to flyers, advertisements and newsletters and use the tagline "Proud participant in Museum Month!" To download the wordmark, visit the May is Museum Month website at www.museumsontario.com/mmweb/ and click on Get involved, scroll down to Museums and choose the appropriate file format.

Submit your Event Listings and Photographs (May and Year-Round Events)

Promote your May events, programs, activities and exhibits. Submit your listings to the Ontario Museum Association FREE of charge to member museums. Visit the May is Museum Month website at www.museumsontario.com/mmweb/ click on Museum Events in the top navigation bar and choose OMA Members: Submit an event in the top right of the sub-menu. E-mail your digital images to museummonth@museumsontario.com.

Take Advantage of E-coupons

Use the promotions field in the Event Listing form to describe a special offer such as 2 for 1 admission, or free admission on International Museum Day. The OMA will make your discounts available by e-coupon on the website. To view e-coupon samples, visit the May is Museum Month website at www.museumsontario.com/mmweb/ and click on E-coupons in the top navigation bar.
