• Dr. Stephen R. Inglis has been named Executive Director of Aanischaaukamikw, a cultural institute dedicated to Cree traditions and knowledge. Dr. Inglis was a driving force behind the first national Aboriginal Training Programme and is well known for his contributions as the Canadian Museum of Civilization’s Director General of Research and Collections.” • IN MEMORIAM: Kimberly (Kim) Anne Louagie passed away January 28th after a 2-year battle with cancer. Kim was Curator of Exhibits at Waterloo Region Museum from 2008, and previously held several positions in Wisconsin. She also served as an Editorial Board Member for Collections: A Journal for Museum and Archives Professionals (AltaMira Press). • Jeanie Tummon, award-winning curator of the OPP Museum, has accepted a new position as Strategic Communications Officer within OPP Corporate Communications until December 4, 2010 (involved in strategic planning, media communications, speech writing, issues management etc.). During her secondment, Chris Johnstone is the Acting Curator for the Museum.
