Your museum's participation in Museum Month is a great way to increase awareness and foster public support of Ontario's museums. Please send in a sample of your latest promotional materials for your May activities and events. The OMA will use these to promote your events and activities to the media (TVOntario, CBC, Radio Canada, etc.). Please indicate what type of materials you are sending to the OMA for media promotion: Newsletter Brochure Flyers Other (please indicate): Please identify items about your museum that the media could use - special topics, artifacts, photos, videos - for possible use in radio, television or print interviews. (Ex. recent exhibit launch, anniversary event, award win, etc.)
We encourage you to use the Museum Month wordmark and the tagline "Proud participant in Museum Month!" in your promotional materials. You can use the wordmark and tagline when publicizing events, exhibit launches and activities, and add it to flyers, ads, newsletters, etc. Visit the May is Museum Month website to download a copy.
