FRONT OF HOUSE: PLANNING MUSEUM FACILITIES
FOR VISITORS
This workshop will offer tips, suggestions and case studies on
designing or modifying museum entrances, reception areas, small
museum gift shops, food service, and yes, even restrooms, to make
them more welcoming for visitors and more functional for staff,
volunteers and visitors.

Participants will gain information and skills required to manage
aquisitions, disposals, and loans, and to create and manage the
body of documentation which is the infrastructure of the collections.
