MANY STAFF CHANGES AT THE MINISTRY...
Richard Mortimer, Director, Programs and Services Branch of the Culture Division at the Ministry of Tourism and Culture, is being seconded to the Ontario Trillium Foundation, as Special Advisor, Stakeholder Relations.
Neil Downs, Manager, Culture Programs Unit, of the Programs and Services Branch, who reported to Mortimer, was seconded to regional services with the Ministry of Tourism and Culture. Mariflor Toneatto will be replacing him. Mariflor worked as policy advisor, Partnership and Research Branch, Health Promotion and with with the Human Rights and Disability Access Unit, Citizenship Division, Ministry of Citizenship, Culture and Recreation.
Gayle Beckett, Supervisor, Culture Programs Unit, reporting to Neil Downs and supervisor of program officers and 3 museum advisors, is on sick leave.
Suzanne Gregor replaces her on a six-month secondment. Suzanne was Senior Policy Advisor with the Ontario 2010 Olympic Secretariat and previously worked in the Communications Branch of the Ministry of Culture.

* * * * * * * * * * • Nicole Drake has left the Secrets of Radar Museum to assume the position of fund development officer for the Brant Historical Society. Adam Cooke takes over Nicole's position at the Secrets of Radar Museum in London but will still be part time with the Wallaceburg & District Museum.
• Nataley Nagy has accepted the position of Director with the Kelowna Art Gallery. Nataley was the Executive Director of the Textile Museum of Canada
•The Art Gallery of Toronto has named Bernita Kiefte as its Executive Director of Marketing and Communication. Kiefte is currently the president of Performance Excelerators, where she has worked as a leadership coach, consultant, educator, writer, and speaker. She holds an M.B.A. from the Richard Ivey School of Business. |
