
Henriette Riegel has taken up the position of Executive Director at the Diefenbunker: Canada’s Cold War Museum / Musée canadien de la Guerre froide .
With over 20 years in the museum field, Henriette brings a wide variety of consulting, academic and museum experience. She also serves on the board of directors of the Council of Heritage Organizations of Ottawa, and of the Bytown Museum. 
Chandra Erlendson, OMA Member and Certificate in Museum Studies participant is leaving Ontario to pursue a position as Manager of Public Programming with the Canadian Museum for Human Rights, in Winnipeg Manitoba. Helena Ball will replace Chandra as Public Programs and Marketing Coordinator, a position she will assume on January 16, 2012. Helena joined the Gallery in 2008 and has worked with the Gallery in many capacities including Program Assistant, Administration Assistant, Interim Development Officer and Marketing and Public Relations Coordinator. 
The Power Plant announced on November 29th the appointment of its first woman Director, Gaëtane Verna. Director of the Musée d'art de Joliette since 2006, Verna takes over the position in March, 2012. The international search for the Power Plant's new director took over eight months. Fabrizio Ago has been appointed Art and Cultural Heritage Mediator by the joint Committee ICOM International and World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO).
